A major luxury housing development is coming to Wayne County, marking the region’s first large-scale canalside project, according to the Finger Lakes Times. Harbor Point, a $38.4 million community of 138 upscale apartments, will be built beside the Erie Canal in Macedon, with construction set to begin in June.
Developed by Pride Mark Homes and marina owners Brian and Allison Keenan, the project includes a clubhouse, fitness center, workspaces, and access to outdoor recreation. Town leaders praised the development as a boost to the area’s growth and appeal.
The developers are requesting tax exemptions and expect final approval after a public hearing this June.
