A 53-year-old man was airlifted to the hospital after he was thrown from his motorcycle Thursday night in Ontario County.
Keith D. Rosato was identified as the motorcyclist in the crash, which occurred at 8:50 p.m. on Vincent Hill Road at State Route 64 in the Town of Bristol.
Rosato was riding a 2007 Harley Davidson when he lost control of the bike. He was ejected from the motorcycle and landed in the middle of the road, according to investigators.
Emergency crews from the Bristol Fire Department and the Canandaigua Emergency Squad responded to the scene. Rosato sustained injuries to his chest, head, and pelvis. He was flown to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight Central.
Authorities said Rosato remains hospitalized in guarded condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
