Tompkins Cortland Community College is now offering free associate degrees in key career fields through New York’s SUNY Reconnect program, according to the college. The initiative targets adults ages 25 to 55 and removes financial barriers for tuition, books, and fees.
Eligible programs include nursing, computer science, environmental studies, sustainable farming, and more. TC3 President Amy Kremenek called the plan a “milestone” in boosting opportunity and workforce development across the state.
With classes starting this fall, the college is also hosting an info session on June 3. Both full- and part-time students can apply, allowing flexible schedules for working adults.
