A woman who admitted to stealing nearly $2,000 in Victor last year has been sentenced to probation and ordered to repay the stolen funds.
Tanisha Martinez was sentenced on May 19 after pleading guilty to grand larceny in the fourth degree. The Ontario County District Attorney’s Office said the crime occurred on March 13, 2024, in the Town of Victor. She was arrested on April 4 by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
As part of her sentence, Martinez received five years of probation and must pay $1,957.96 in restitution, along with a $50 DNA fee.
