A two-vehicle crash on Sunday morning disrupted traffic along State Route 5 in Seneca Falls and left three people with minor injuries.
The accident occurred around 11:38 a.m. on May 18, just east of the Balsley Road intersection. According to the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department, a westbound vehicle failed to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic, resulting in a head-on collision with a second vehicle.
Emergency responders from the Seneca Falls Police Department, Seneca Falls Fire Department, and North Seneca Ambulance arrived on scene. All drivers and a passenger were evaluated by EMS personnel and sustained only minor injuries. The road was temporarily closed but reopened shortly after.
