A Sunday afternoon fire heavily damaged a 60-foot trailer on County Road 10 near Odessa, according to local reports. Firefighters battled strong winds to contain the blaze and successfully saved a nearby garage.
Crews from Odessa, Montour Falls, Watkins Glen, Mecklenburg, Town and Country, Van Etten, and Millport fire departments responded to the scene. The trailer, located under a pavilion next to the garage, was unoccupied at the time.
Officials say the cause of the fire remains under investigation as cleanup and assessments continue at the site.
