An eight-story mixed-use building on College Avenue earned final approval from Ithaca’s Planning Board Tuesday, advancing a key Collegetown redevelopment, according to The Ithaca Voice.

Developers Nick Robertson and Charlie O’Connor’s 325 College Avenue plan will bring 52 residential units and ground-floor retail, including space for returning tenant Koko restaurant. Meanwhile, other projects, including INHS’s affordable senior housing on West State Street and the scaled-back Water’s Edge development, continue moving through early review.

The board also discussed new accessory dwelling unit rules and embraced Passive House sustainability goals. Across proposals, board members praised designs and stressed the need for thoughtful integration with surrounding neighborhoods.
