A sold-out crowd of 225 helped Finger Lakes Community College raise over $90,000 at its 10th annual Vintners & Valentines fundraiser. Held April 4 on FLCC’s main campus, the event supports the college’s culinary and wine programs.
Guests were treated to a five-course meal prepared by students, paired with wines from 24 local producers—nearly half led by FLCC graduates. The funds will provide scholarships for global wine studies, as well as professional equipment for hands-on learning.
FLCC President Robert Nye praised attendees for investing in future food and wine industry leaders. Planning for next year’s event is already underway as the college continues to grow its signature programs.
