Union Springs Man Accused of Trespassing, Violating Protection Order

A Union Springs man was arrested early Friday morning after deputies say he unlawfully entered a residence in the Village of Cayuga, violating a court-issued order of protection.

According to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to a domestic incident around 3:05 a.m. on April 11. While speaking with the victim, the suspect, 34-year-old Robert J. Giannone, arrived at the location. Following an investigation, deputies determined Giannone had entered the home without permission, breaching the conditions of an active protective order.
