Visionary speakers from across the globe will take the stage at Cornell University this Saturday for TEDxCornell 2025, where this year’s theme, “Uncharted,” invites audiences to explore bold new directions in technology, finance, art, and storytelling.

The April 12 event will be held at the 700-seat Statler Auditorium, drawing Cornell students, Ithaca residents, and visiting thought leaders for a series of talks designed to push boundaries and provoke thought. The event is open to the public, with tickets available online.

Among the featured speakers is Alexander Htet Kyaw, an MIT researcher innovating at the crossroads of artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and architecture. His work aims to revolutionize refugee housing solutions in Myanmar.

Also speaking is Ella Hough, a Cornell senior and founder of the Cornell Bitcoin Club. Hough leads research on cryptocurrency adoption in 25 countries and is reshaping ideas about financial freedom.

Fashion designer Joe Ando will showcase his avant-garde work that has gained widespread attention across social media platforms. Tony Award-winning Broadway producer Julia Dunetz is also on the lineup. She is currently developing The Queen’s Gambit as a musical with Level Forward and is known for championing underrepresented voices in theatre.

Organizers say TEDxCornell 2025 offers a rare opportunity to engage with leaders who are redefining their fields. Full event details and tickets are available at tedxcornell.com.
