The Good Neighbor Grocery in Groton recently celebrated its first anniversary, according to The Tompkins Weekly. Founded by Laura Hahn and managed by Renée Storiale, the store has become a community hub offering local groceries, a café, classes, and farmers markets.
Since opening in March 2024, TGNG has expanded with cooking and art workshops, market days, and private events. Their popular drive-thru and online ordering system continue to grow, with lunch service launching in April.
Hahn and Storiale credit their long friendship and complementary skills for the store’s success, and plan to add even more programming in year two.
