A Lyons man is facing charges after deputies linked him to two separate thefts in the town.
Joseph Gonzalez, 26, was arrested after a Wayne County Sheriff’s Office investigation found he allegedly stole items from both Quicklees and Santelli Lumber. Deputies said Gonzalez took ArmorAll wipes, Black Ice air fresheners, and two Beat Box wine coolers from Quicklees.
While taking him into custody, deputies discovered grass seed on Gonzalez that had reportedly been stolen from Santelli Lumber. He now faces two counts of petit larceny.
Gonzalez was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charges in Lyons Town Court on April 15 at 8:30 a.m.
