Residents in Sennett’s Water District 2 will experience a temporary water service shutdown today as crews work to repair a water main. The outage is expected to begin at approximately 10 a.m. and will affect several streets in the area.
The shutdown will impact North Hunter and South Hunter, starting at the intersection of Ross Street and North Hunter Avenue and running south across East Genesee Street to the end of South Hunter. Additional affected areas include Foxcroft, Walnut Street, and the south side of East Genesee Street from 3074 East Genesee Street east to Wegman Street.
Officials thank residents for their patience and understanding while the repairs are completed. No estimated time for restoration has been provided.
