Seneca Falls Police Department honors officers and staff at annual recognition dinner

The Seneca Falls Police Department recently held its annual employee recognition dinner, celebrating the dedication and service of its officers and staff. The event, held on February 24, highlighted exceptional contributions to law enforcement and community engagement.

Officer Rumfelt received the Excellence in Police Service award for going above and beyond in fulfilling the department’s mission. Sergeant MacLean was recognized with a Letter of Recognition for his leadership and community outreach, along with a five-year service pin. Investigator Denny was also honored with a Letter of Recognition for his handling of specialized felony cases, including child abuse investigations.

In addition to law enforcement officers, the department recognized two civilian staff members, Clerk Archer and Clerk Spano—affectionately referred to as the “Captains”—with the Meritorious Conduct award. The department credited them for their dedication, integrity, and keeping operations running smoothly.

Other honorees included Sergeant Investigator Rotz and Officer Mestan, who received Letters of Recognition but were not immediately available for photographs.

The evening concluded with a special acknowledgment of Chief Snyder, who received his 25-year service pin in recognition of his long-standing dedication to the department and the community.

“Congratulations to all!” the department stated in its announcement, celebrating the achievements of its team.
