Ontario County officials will host a final open house tonight at the Finger Lakes Welcome Center in Geneva to present findings from the Freight Rail Corridor Development Plan and gather last-minute community input.
The event, running from 6–8 p.m., will be informal with no formal presentation. Attendees can review the draft report, which addresses industrial development, pedestrian safety, zoning updates, and the impact of the Norfolk Southern rail line closure.
Local leaders encourage residents to drop in and share feedback before the plan is finalized. For updates, visit the project webpage or contact the county planning department.
