China announced additional tariffs of up to 15% on major U.S. agricultural imports, including soy, beef, pork, and chicken, in response to President Donald Trump’s tariff hikes on Chinese goods. The new duties take effect March 10.
U.S. exports of wheat, corn, and cotton will see a 15% tariff increase, while soybeans, pork, and dairy products face a 10% hike. Additionally, China placed 15 American companies on its unreliable entities list, restricting their trade and investment activities.
These measures escalate trade tensions between the two nations, signaling further economic strain in an ongoing tariff battle.
