A postseason doubleheader of Wayne-Finger Lakes high school basketball was on tap Tuesday night as Lyons, Mynderse and Waterloo attempted to punch their ticket to a sectional final at the Blue Cross Arena this weekend.
Class B2 Semifinal: Lyons vs. Avon
FL1 Radio was live from the Section V Boys Basketball Class B2 semifinal between of the best teams in the area looking to move on to the Blue Cross Arena. The #4 seed Lyons Lions looked to continue their storied history in Sectional play as they battled the top seed Avon River Hawks. Paul Russo and Kyle Evans had the call from Pittsford Sutherland.

Class B1 Semifinal: Mynderse vs. Waterloo
FL1 Radio was live from FLCC for the Section V Boys Basketball Class B1 semifinal between two storied rivals in the Finger Lakes East. The #6 seed Mynderse Academy Blue Devils and the #2 seed Waterloo Tigers clashed for a spot at Blue Cross Arena and the Sectional Final. Jim Sinicropi has the call courtside for a new chapter in the rivalry.
