The Coffee Shed, a new drive-thru coffee stand in Trumansburg, is serving up locally sourced coffee and breakfast treats. Open since last fall at the site of Trimmers ice cream shop, the café offers coffee from Copper Horse Coffee Roasters and breakfast sandwiches on Ithaca Bakery bagels.
Owners Keith Hannon and Casey Keller, who also run Trimmers, saw an opportunity to add coffee to their offerings. Their menu includes classic coffee drinks and creative options like a Thin Mint latte. Breakfast sandwiches have become a local favorite, even drawing bulk orders from businesses.
Hannon, a longtime community member, values the shop’s role in bringing people together. As The Coffee Shed grows, the owners hope to expand creative menu offerings and continue serving their neighbors with friendly, fast service.
