A Lyons man was arrested Tuesday after investigators found him in possession of stolen skis linked to a theft in Monroe County.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, arrested Brian G. Lazzar, 45, of Catherine Street in Lyons. He was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree.
The investigation began in Monroe County after a pair of skis were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in a residential driveway in Perinton. On February 25, detectives located Lazzar at his residence in Lyons, where they discovered the stolen skis.
Lazzar was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Lyons Court at a later date to answer the charge.
