It also proposes Medicaid cuts and raises the debt limit by $4 trillion. Despite internal GOP divisions, last-minute negotiations flipped key votes in favor of the plan.
Democrats opposed the measure, calling it a giveaway to the wealthy at the expense of working families. The resolution now moves to the Senate, where Republicans face pressure to align with Trump’s fiscal priorities.
