Theatre444 is set to bring the heartfelt two-man musical The Story of My Life to the Cobblestone Arts Center in Farmington this weekend.
Featuring music and lyrics by Neil Bartram and a book by Brian Hill, the show follows the lifelong friendship of Alvin and Thomas, two small-town men brought together once more after Alvin’s mysterious death. As Thomas struggles to write Alvin’s eulogy, Alvin leads him through the memories and stories that defined their friendship, exploring the joy, struggles, and deep bond between them.
Actors Damon Fletcher and Alexander Ramos take on the roles of Thomas and Alvin, bringing humor and emotion to the production. Both are familiar faces at Theatre444, with past performances in Sweeney Todd, Rent, and Alice by Heart. The production is directed by NYS Award-Winning Artistic Director Pam Rapoza, with musical direction by Meredith Beckley. Technical direction is provided by Brooke Corsner, and Wendy Varrichio-Fletcher serves as stage manager.
Performances will be held at 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, at the Cobblestone Arts Center, 1622 Route 332, Farmington. Tickets are available at www.theatre444.com, and more information can be found on the group’s Facebook page.
