Seneca County’s village elections on March 18 will see most candidates running unopposed. In Waterloo, Republican John Butlak seeks reelection, while Gina Suffredini is not running. Other trustee candidates include Jason Godley and Jamie Rodger. Samuel Roscia Jr. plans a write-in campaign.
In Ovid, appointed Mayor Aaron Roisen is running for a full term, and Ken Favreau seeks to complete Roisen’s trustee term. David Wood seeks reelection, while June Favreau is not running. In Interlaken, Christopher Kempf and Terence O’Pray are running for trustee, with Mayor Rich Richardson seeking another term.
Lodi’s Mayor Rose Riley is running again, but no one filed for Trustee Rick Jacot’s seat, leaving it to a write-in winner.
