A Canandaigua man was arrested Sunday after an investigation into a reported domestic altercation in Hopewell, authorities said.
Dillon James Whitbeck, 20, was taken into custody at his residence on February 2 at 3:52 p.m. He was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child after a physical altercation between him and his girlfriend was witnessed by two children under the age of 17, according to law enforcement.
Whitbeck was transported to the Ontario County Jail for CAP arraignment. He is scheduled to appear in Hopewell Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
