A late-night fire engulfed a home on County Road 119 in Canisteo, prompting a multi-department response Wednesday night. By the time firefighters arrived, the structure was fully consumed by flames and heavy smoke.
Crews battled the fire for hours before clearing the scene around 2 a.m. Thursday.
Authorities have not determined the cause, but no injuries have been reported, according to Canisteo police.
