A State Police investigation led to the arrest of a Newark man earlier this month following a child exploitation tip.
Scott W. Weber, 65, was arrested after police executed a search warrant on his electronic devices after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
Evidence showed he had downloaded explicit images and videos to his Google cloud account.
Weber faces felony charges, including promoting a sexual performance by a child under 17 and possessing child sex abuse material involving a child under 16.
He was arraigned and released, with additional charges possible as the investigation continues.
