Cornell Cooperative Extension is offering a free parenting skills workshop in Canandaigua, beginning March 4 at the Jim Dooley Center for Early Learning. The eight-session series will teach key techniques to help parents handle challenges effectively.
Participants will learn five essential skills: Encouragement, Can-Do, Choices, Self-Control, and Respecting Feelings. Classes run Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., concluding with a celebration dinner on April 22. Childcare is available for children ages six months to 12 years.
