ORANGE GAME DAY: Syracuse heads to Pittsburgh, looking to split season series (preview)

Syracuse (11-15, 5-10 ACC) heads to Pittsburgh (15-10, 6-8 ACC) to face the Panthers tonight at 7 p.m.

The Orange are looking to bounce back after a narrow 88-82 loss to North Carolina last Saturday, where Eddie Lampkin Jr. recorded his 11th double-double with 26 points and 11 rebounds, and J.J. Starling scored 20 of his 22 points in the second half.

Pittsburgh, despite losing eight of its last 11 games, secured a 74-65 victory over Miami last Saturday, led by Ishmael Leggett’s 21 points and 10 rebounds.

This is the second meeting between the two teams this season. In their previous matchup on January 25, the Panthers edged Syracuse 77-73. The Orange hold a 76-51 lead in the all-time series that dates back to 1914.

The game will be broadcast on the ACC Network, featuring play-by-play commentary from Doug Sherman and analysis from Randolph Childress.
