With the state budget process for 2025-26 underway, Sen. Rachel May is organizing town hall meetings to hear from residents of the 48th Senate District.
May, a Democrat from Syracuse, will hold sessions on Tuesday at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse and on Thursday at Cayuga Community College in Auburn.
Both events start at 6 p.m. Gov. Kathy Hochul has proposed a $252 billion budget focusing on affordability and school aid, with lawmakers set to finalize their own versions in March.
