An Auburn man was taken into custody after fleeing a traffic stop and being found with crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
Police say Nathan T. Burt, 35, was pulled over Thursday night for driving without headlights but fled on foot after stopping in a driveway.
Officers caught Burt after a brief chase and struggle. A search revealed crack cocaine, a digital scale, and other drug-related items. Police also determined he was driving with a suspended permit.
Burt faces multiple charges, including felony drug possession, resisting arrest, and driving with a suspended license. He was taken to Cayuga County Jail for arraignment.
