Police in Penn Yan say a woman refused to leave a secure area of their department after being released from custody.
Joanna J. Rutherford, 40, of Branchport was arrested on January 27 following the incident, which occurred on January 19. Rutherford had been served an appearance ticket for another case when she allegedly refused to leave the building despite being ordered multiple times.
She was charged with third-degree criminal trespass and issued another appearance ticket for Penn Yan Village Court.
