Village elections set for March 18 in Seneca County

Voters in Ovid, Interlaken, and Lodi will head to the polls on March 18 to elect new village officials, with several key positions up for grabs.


  • In Ovid, four of five Village Board seats are open, including the mayor’s position, currently held by Aaron Roisen. Trustees David Wood and Kenneth Favreau are expected to run, while June Favreau will not seek reelection.
  • In Interlaken, Mayor Rich Richardson and Trustee Christopher Kempf plan to run again, but Tony Del Plato will step down.
  • Lodi Mayor Rose Riley seeks another term, while Trustee Rick Jacot is not running.

Candidate petitions are due by mid-February, with voting taking place at designated local sites.
