A Keuka Park woman was arrested in the Town of Jerusalem on the evening of January 14 after allegedly violating an order of protection, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies took 26-year-old Jade S. Smith into custody following an investigation into a complaint that she had visited a residence she was legally required to avoid. The order of protection was in effect at the time of the incident.
Smith was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and held overnight. She was scheduled to appear for arraignment the following morning at the Centralized Arraignment Program.
