State police arrested Weldon R. Malone Jr., 58, and Brandon C. Millhoff, 48, both of Auburn, for allegedly robbing Savannah Bank in Port Byron on January 6.
Malone was identified through surveillance footage and apprehended at a residence, while Millhoff was later found hiding at a motor inn and resisted arrest, earning an additional charge.
Both suspects, with extensive criminal histories, were charged with third-degree robbery and fourth-degree grand larceny. Details on the stolen amount remain undisclosed.
Police thanked the public for their assistance in the investigation.
