The New York State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Monday afternoon at the Savannah Bank located at 126 Main Street in the village of Port Byron.
At approximately 3:25 p.m., a male suspect entered the bank, approached a teller, and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene on foot, heading southbound on Main Street.
The suspect is described as a male wearing a black cloth mask, a grey jacket, and grey pants.
