The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) has determined that a proposed 2.5-megawatt solar expansion in Huron will not have significant environmental impacts.
Planned by GreenSpark Solar, the project will cover 9.75 acres on a 37-acre parcel adjacent to an existing solar array. It includes a 1,000-foot gravel access road and will connect to the Rochester Gas & Electric grid.
Questions about the project can be directed to GreenSpark Solar’s Matt Vanderbrook.
