A Fayette man was arrested Saturday morning on a misdemeanor driving while intoxicated charge stemming from a personal injury crash that occurred in October.
James P. Stuck, of 505 Marshall Road, was taken into custody by Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies on December 29 at approximately 9 a.m., according to Sheriff Tim Thompson.
The charge follows an investigation into an accident on October 17 at around 10:30 p.m., when Stuck allegedly failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of Yellow Tavern Road and State Route 96. Authorities say the injured party was traveling north on Route 96 when Stuck’s vehicle pulled into the roadway, leaving no time to avoid a collision.
Minor injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
Stuck was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Fayette Town Court on February 14 at 6 p.m.
