A crash in the Town of Arcadia on Sunday evening resulted in minor injuries for both the driver and passenger, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred at 6:18 p.m. on December 15, when Mary Wohlrab lost control of her vehicle at the intersection of Van Auken Road and Welcher Road. Investigators reported that the vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and slid into a ditch, citing icy road conditions as a contributing factor.
Wohlrab and her passenger were taken to Newark Wayne Community Hospital by Wayne County Ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.
Fairville Fire Department, Wayne County Ambulance, and New York State Police assisted deputies at the scene.
