The Village of Victor Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on Monday, Dec. 16, 2024, at 6:45 p.m. in the Victor Village Hall to discuss a proposed application for funding to rehabilitate a vacant commercial property under the Restore NY Communities Initiative.
The building in question is the former Victor Fire House located at 5 West Main Street. The two-story, 2,080-square-foot structure has been vacant and is now being proposed for a mixed-use redevelopment, which would include retail space and housing. The project seeks financial support from Empire State Development to breathe new life into the historic property.
Residents are encouraged to attend the hearing to share their views and comments on the proposal, which aims to revitalize the village’s downtown area. The board’s decision on this application could lead to significant economic and community benefits.
The application details and property assessment information will be available for public review at the hearing.
