Funding for the $55,000 vehicle and its $19,500 equipment upgrades came from federal Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance grants. The vehicle is outfitted with modern law enforcement tools, including a laptop, car printer, radar unit, and weapon box, ensuring officers are prepared to protect students, staff, and the community.

Officials say they will continue pursuing grants to meet community needs while reducing costs for taxpayers, reinforcing their commitment to safety and fiscal responsibility.
