Film enthusiasts and community members are invited to enjoy a nostalgic cinematic experience at the upcoming Free Movie Afternoon, scheduled for Thursday, December 12, at 1:00 PM. The event will take place in the Ministry Center, formerly St. Mary School, located at 35 Center St.

This month’s feature is Room for One More, a heartwarming 1952 classic starring Cary Grant and Betsy Drake. The film tells the touching story of Poppy and Anna Rose, a couple with a deep compassion for children in need. Despite having three children of their own, they take in two troubled young orphans. Through love and understanding, they transform the lives of young Jane, who is struggling with depression, and Jimmy, a physically disabled boy with a turbulent past.

The screening will run for 1 hour and 38 minutes. Guests are encouraged to use the parking lot behind the church for both parking and entrance. Light refreshments will be provided, ensuring a cozy and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.
