The task force also highlighted the importance of green infrastructure like permeable pavements and rain gardens, alongside stronger regional partnerships to address runoff from neighboring areas.
While some measures are already in use, funding remains a hurdle. Hendrix plans to prioritize projects based on council feedback, recognizing that large-scale efforts could require substantial investment.
