The Yates County Republican Committee hosted its Gala 2024 at Seasons on Keuka Lake over Columbus Day weekend, drawing over 160 attendees. The event began with a stirring performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” by Nashville artist Madelyn Rose, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and an invocation. Local officials were recognized, and Chair John Prendergast welcomed participants and speakers.
Dundee’s Bonnie Percy received the Ridley Award for her 25 years of service, including as committee treasurer. Additional honors included a MAGA Motivator of the Year award.
Speakers included U.S. Senate candidate Mike Sapraicone, Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, Assemblyman Phil Palmesano, and others, covering topics like public safety and parental rights. The evening concluded with a benediction and calls to action for party involvement.
