Want to sign your name or read historical family letters? The Rose Historical Society is hosting a “Cursive 101” workshop on Sunday, November 24, from 2 to 4 p.m. at 5016 Main Street, North Rose, NY. Former teacher Lucinda Collier will guide participants through cursive basics in this hands-on class for ages 9 to young adults.

The event, in partnership with Wayne County Historian Jane Milem, promotes the value of cursive literacy in accessing historical documents and personal letters. Future workshops and a handwriting contest are also being considered.
