There are no more undefeated teams in the NFL. The Buffalo Bills (9-2) ended the Kansas City Chiefs (9-1) perfect season with a 30-21 victory on Sunday at Highmark Stadium.
With the Bills leading by just two late in the fourth quarter, Josh Allen delivered the knockout punch, running for a 26-yard touchdown on a fourth-and-two. Then, Terrel Bernard picked off Patrick Mahomes with just over a minute remaining to officially seal the win.
Allen finished the game with over 300 total yards and two total touchdowns despite not having pass catchers Keon Coleman, Dalton Kincaid, and right tackle Spencer Brown. He completed 27-of-40 passes for 262 yards to go with a touchdown and an interception.
James Cook found the end zone twice on just nine carries. Khalil Shakir led the receivers with 70 yards on eight receptions, while Curtis Samuel had a standout performance with five catches for 58 yards and a touchdown.
Bernard recorded eight tackles and a sack to go along with his game-sealing interception. Von Miller also added a sack, while safety Taylor Rapp tallied six tackles and an interception.
This win marked several milestones for Buffalo. The team improved to 9-2 for the first time since 1992, maintaining their position atop the AFC East. They extended their winning streak to six games and remained unbeaten at home this season (5-0), a feat last accomplished in 1995. Additionally, the Bills snapped Kansas City’s 15-game winning streak and became the first team since 2021 to defeat the Chiefs in four consecutive regular-season matchups.
