A fire at 3 Bundy Ave. in Auburn early Friday displaced a family and caused significant damage to their home.
Auburn firefighters, arriving within two minutes of the 4:40 a.m. reports, quickly contained the blaze. Flames from the second floor and roof were extinguished in about 10 minutes, with the fire fully under control in 30 minutes.
First responders said the Red Cross is assisting the family after their home sustained extensive fire, smoke, and water damage. Firefighters saved a pet amid the response. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
