Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway made bold moves in the third quarter, adding stakes in Domino’s Pizza and Pool Corp., while continuing to shed holdings in Apple and Bank of America.
Domino’s Pizza and Pool Corp. shares, worth $550 million and $152 million respectively, surged in after-hours trading following the announcement.
Berkshire reduced its Apple holdings by 25%, marking a significant shift from its long-standing investment, though the iPhone maker still represents a quarter of its $266 billion equity portfolio. Bank of America holdings were also significantly trimmed.
Meanwhile, Berkshire exited Floor & Decor entirely and slashed its stake in Ulta Beauty. The only addition to an existing holding was aerospace firm Heico Corp.
