Rasmus Dahlin scored a power-play goal in overtime to lift the Buffalo Sabres to a 4-3 victory over the St. Louis Blues on Thursday night at KeyBank Center.
Ryan Mcleod, who stepped up as first-line center in Tage Thompson’s absence, recorded a goal and assist.
Zach Benson and Alex Tuch also scored for the Sabres. Peyton Krebs, Bowen Byram, Owen Power, Jacob Bryson, JJ Peterka, and Jack Quinn added assists.
Devon Levi, in his first start since November 1, made 24 saves, including eight in the third period, to keep the game in reach for Buffalo.
The Sabres will hit the ice again on Saturday in Philadelphia when they face the Flyers at 7 p.m.
