A person was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon following a fall from a tree stand in Cayuga County.
Emergency crews responded to the incident near Ledyard Road and Route 90 in the town of Ledyard shortly after 3:25 p.m., according to 911 dispatchers.
The individual was transported to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse by Southern Cayuga Instant Aid.
Fire departments from Poplar Ridge, Aurora, King Ferry, and Scipio assisted at the scene, dispatchers reported.
