Public Hearing scheduled for sewer pump replacement project in Jerusalem

The Town Board of Jerusalem will hold a public hearing on November 20 at 7:00 p.m. at the Jerusalem Town Hall to discuss the planned replacement of approximately 175 grinder pump stations within the Keuka Park Sewer District Extension #2. The meeting, open to all residents, will address project details including costs, funding, and timelines.

The project, which seeks to replace worn-out equipment in Sewer District Ext. #2, is estimated to cost $420,000, plus installation fees. Under the proposal, the full project cost will be financed and repaid by property owners within the Keuka Park Sewer District Ext. #2, following Section 202-b of New York State Town Law.
