A 42-year-old man is in stable condition after being stabbed multiple times during a confrontation Thursday night in Union Springs, according to Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred around 10 p.m. outside a building on Cayuga Street that houses apartments.
Albert Weber, 50, has been identified as the suspect and is charged with second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Following treatment for minor injuries, Weber was arraigned and sent to Cayuga County Jail without bail. The victim is currently receiving treatment at Upstate University Hospital.
